The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has an overall score of 68.3, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Go's overall score of 66.5. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo OS, while Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 OS. Even though Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) and the Microsoft Surface Go were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) body is a bit thicker but also extremely lighter.

Microsoft Surface Go has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
