Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has an overall score of 72.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s 68.3 general score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) comes with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Although it's the best tablet device we compare here, we must highlight that it is also an a lot older, just a bit thicker and noticeably heavier tablet device.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has 2 lesser cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a way bigger screen, a just a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher 1440 x 2160px resolution.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Both of them have a back facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution, the same video frame rate and the same video definition.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
