Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 global score. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a much newer tablet, and it is also way lighter and just a bit thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) comes with Android 8.1 Oreo OS, while Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS.
Microsoft Surface RT counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and a Quad-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an additional graphics processing unit. Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a just a bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a really bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366px.
