Comparison review
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than OSCAL Pad 90, getting a 68.3 score against 57.9. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has newer 8.1 Oreo version and OSCAL Pad 90 has Android 14, giving you some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The OSCAL Pad 90 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 6 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a brighter screen than OSCAL Pad 90, although it has a way smaller screen. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has just a bit better camera than OSCAL Pad 90, although it has a much less MP resolution back-facing camera and a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting images or video in low light environments.
OSCAL Pad 90 has a little bit better memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The OSCAL Pad 90 features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 7700mAh battery capacity.
