The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch is better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), having a global score of 80 against 68.3. Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch comes with Windows 10 operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch is an older and notably heavier tablet than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has a better performing processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with 6 GB more RAM. Galaxy Book 12-inch has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a little bit more pixels per inch in the display, a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 1440px and a lot larger screen.
