The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has an overall score of 77.4, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s 68.3 overall score. Despite of the fact Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is way older and noticeably heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), it's design is still thinner. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS, but Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a way higher screen density, a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a larger display. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has slightly more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a SD extension slot that admits 336 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has an additional GPU and 1 GB more RAM.
