The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's 67.8 score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2, so it offers lots of additional features. Although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is thicker than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, it's notably lighter and a lot newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little less pixels per display inch, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also counts with a larger display.
