Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), getting a score of 76.7 against 68.3. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has the previous 11 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo. Even though Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) were released only a couple months apart, Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)'s construction is thinner but extremely heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) counts with just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a larger display, a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a bit higher display pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and a greater amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) also has a camera with a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) costs more money than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
