Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), with a 74.5 score against 68.3. Both tablets we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo, giving you a couple additional features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5's design is thinner but incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and both were released only a couple months apart.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a lot bigger screen, a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5's memory capacity to store more games and applications is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) one, they have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB and the same 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and faster). Galaxy Tab A 10.5 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a way more MP camera and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and videos.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), giving up some specifications.
