The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A8, getting a global score of 68.3 against 62.6. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a noticeably older and much thicker tablet device than Galaxy Tab A8, but Samsung was able to make it notably lighter anyway.
