The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), getting a overall score of 79 against 68.3. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 design is much newer than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s, although it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a higher pixel count in each inch in the screen and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a way higher video resolution and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Active 3's battery performance is very similar to the battery duration in Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a 5050mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
