Galaxy Tab S4 has a general score of 78.8, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s 68.3 general score. Although the Galaxy Tab S4 and the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) were released with only 1 months difference, Galaxy Tab S4's body is heavier but somewhat thinner. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a much better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, a way better display density and a much bigger display.

The Galaxy Tab S4 has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 400 GB, the Galaxy Tab S4 also has 32 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Tab S4 has a superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
