The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), having a 75.8 score against 68.3. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has the older 12 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo. Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra's design is extremely lighter and extremely thinner than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser CPU cores (but faster).
