Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy View 2's 65.3 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a way thinner and noticeably lighter device than Samsung Galaxy View 2, even though both were released only 7 months apart. Both tablets in our current comparison work with the same Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller display and a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a greater pixels number per inch of screen. The Galaxy View 2 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a larger amount of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) takes way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy View 2. Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a much greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 400 GB, the Samsung Galaxy View 2 also has 32 GB more internal memory.

Galaxy View 2 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 140% greater battery size.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is also by far the cheapest.
