The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a score of 68.3, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi MiPad's 64.4 general score. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) construction is newer and just a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi MiPad's, but it is just a little thicker. The Xiaomi MiPad features a way better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixels count per display inch and a much higher 2048 x 1536px resolution.
The Xiaomi MiPad has a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). Both of them have 2 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi MiPad, although it has a camera with way less mega-pixels, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and videos in low-light situations and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi MiPad, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 400 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi MiPad has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 6700mAh battery size instead of 5000mAh.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) costs a bit more than Xiaomi MiPad, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
