Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has Android 13, so it provides you lots of additional features.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, although it has a way smaller screen.
