Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a score of 69, which is much better than the HTC Flyer's 58.7 overall score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019)'s construction is much newer, notably thinner and lighter than HTC Flyer. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has newer 11 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2, providing some extra features.

HTC Flyer has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), although it has a bit smaller display, a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a just a bit worse amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has much more memory for games and applications than HTC Flyer, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
