Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, with a general score of 69 against 61.7. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has the newer 11 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, offering a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) construction is newer, extremely thinner and a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), although it has a little bit smaller screen, a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a little bit lower screen density.
