Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, with a 61.7 score against 60.1. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's design is a lot older, a little bit heavier and a lot thicker than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has 4.1 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 5.0.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has a bit inferior pixel quantity in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a slightly better 1024 x 768 resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores and a graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE takes a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a lower 1280x720 video resolution and a back facing camera with a lot lower 3.2 mega-pixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, which makes this tablet a simple decision.
