Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a bit better than the Apple iPad Air 2, getting a score of 74.6 against 74.2. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie OS, and Apple iPad Air 2 works with iOS 8.x OS. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s construction is incredibly newer and notably lighter, but also thicker than the Apple iPad Air 2.
Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a bit better processing power than iPad Air 2, because although it has a 32-bits processing unit against 64-bits, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Apple iPad Air 2 has a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger screen and a little higher 2048 x 1536px resolution.
IPad Air 2's camera is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s camera, and although the iPad Air 2 has a much tinier diafragm aperture, they both have the same video quality, a back facing camera with an 8 MP and the same video frame rates. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features much more memory to store more games and applications than iPad Air 2, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 16 GB more internal memory.
Apple iPad Air 2 has a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a 47 percent larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a better device, it costs a bit more money than iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad Air 2. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy iPad Air 2, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
