IPad mini 2 has a score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 score. The iPad mini 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie OS. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the iPad mini 2 is a older, a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020).
The Apple iPad mini 2 features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The iPad mini 2 has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has an inferior number of cores and they are also slower and lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64-bit CPU.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) shoots a little bit better videos and photos than iPad mini 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a way larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos and a back facing camera with lot more MP.
