The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a score of 74.6, which is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad X2's 72.7 overall score. These tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0 version, giving a couple additional features. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a somewhat heavier tablet than the Huawei MediaPad X2, but they are equally thin.
Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a quite higher pixels number in each inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad X2, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have a 3 GB RAM and 8 cores, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64 bits processor. The Huawei MediaPad X2's battery performance is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s battery lifetime.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) takes greater photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 8 mega pixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video quality.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet a no doubt choice.
