The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), getting a 75.2 score against 74.6. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design has the same thickness than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but it is a bit heavier. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
