Comparison review
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, with a 62.3 score against 60.5. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a noticeably lighter tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but they are equally thin. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has an additional graphics processor, a larger amount of RAM memory and more CPU cores. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a way better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a way greater pixels number per inch in the display.

Although Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
