Comparison review
The iPad 3 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, getting a 71.1 score against 60.5. IPad 3 has iOS 6.1 operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Despite being the best we are comparing, iPad 3's construction is much older, noticeably thicker and way heavier than Galaxy Tab A 9.7.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a little better performance than iPad 3, because it has more RAM memory and more CPU cores. IPad 3 features a way better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a display of the same size, the iPad 3 also has a lot higher screen density and a much higher 1536 x 2048px resolution.
The iPad 3 features a greater storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Apple iPad 3 features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a 11560mAh battery size.
The Apple iPad 3 captures greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera, the Apple iPad 3 also has a way higher video resolution.
The iPad 3 costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
