The iPad 4 has a global score of 70.8, which is better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 score. IPad 4's design is a lot heavier and much thicker than Galaxy Tab A 9.7. The iPad 4 has iOS 7.x OS, and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 works with Android 7.1 Nougat OS. The Apple iPad 4 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has less processing cores and 512 MB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU.
The iPad 4 features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a display of the same size, the iPad 4 also has a way better 1536 x 2048px resolution and a much greater screen density.
