Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a little bit better than HTC Flyer, having a 60.5 score against 58.7. These devices include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is way newer and incredibly thinner than the HTC Flyer's, although it's just a little heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a bit faster processing unit than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. HTC Flyer counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a higher screen pixel density.

HTC Flyer counts with a slightly better memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a SD card slot that holds 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. The HTC Flyer features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab A 9.7. Both have a back facing camera with a 5 megapixels, the same video quality and the same video frame rates.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a superior battery lifetime than HTC Flyer, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
