Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.0, with a overall score of 60.5 against 58.6. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version, providing you lots of additional features and optimized performance. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a incredibly thinner but way heavier tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1280 x 800px resolution and a higher screen density.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a camera that's just as good as the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although the LG G Pad 8.0 has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality, they both have the same resolution camera in the back. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a much better battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
