The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a general score of 75.8, which is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's overall score of 60.5. Both devices we are comparing work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an older 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Although it's the best portable tablet we compare here, we must note that it's also older, heavier and just a bit thicker.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 1,5 GB more RAM and a graphics processor. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a lot better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a lot higher count of pixels per inch of display, a little bit bigger display and a much better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video quality and a much more megapixels back-facing camera. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
