Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a score of 60.8, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7's global score of 60.5. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a incredibly older and extremely thicker tablet than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, but Samsung could make it lighter anyway. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 4.1.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher number of 1200 MHz cores and a higher amount of RAM.

Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a back facing camera with a much higher 5 megapixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a way better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
