Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a score of 60.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab's 58.6 score. These tablets have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has 7.1 Nougat version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, so it provides some additional features. Although the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is somewhat heavier than Galaxy Tab, it's incredibly thinner and extremely newer.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Tab counts with a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little lower 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels density.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab, although it has just 16 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
