LG G Pad X 8.3 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A8, with a global score of 63.8 against 62.6. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but LG G Pad X 8.3 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version. The LG G Pad X 8.3 is a way older and extremely thicker device than Galaxy Tab A8, but LG was able to build it a lot lighter anyway.
LG G Pad X 8.3 features a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The LG G Pad X 8.3 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920px, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also counts with a better pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features a much better memory to install applications and games than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy Tab A8 counts with a superior battery duration than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a 7040mAh battery size instead of 4800mAh.
LG G Pad X 8.3 features a better camera than Galaxy Tab A8. Both have a same resolution back facing camera.
