Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A8 has a general score of 62.6, which is just a bit better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's 62.6 global score. Although the Galaxy Tab A8 is extremely heavier than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, it's way thinner and also notably newer. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A8 has a newer 11 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has Android 4.0 version.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lot worse 800 x 1280px resolution, a much smaller screen and a quite worse pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1 TB.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has an extremely better CPU than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has less RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a much lower 5 megapixels resolution back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features a very superior battery duration than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity instead of 3960mAh.
