The Galaxy Tab A8 has a score of 62.6, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's overall score of 60.4. These tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A8 has newer 11 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2. Galaxy Tab A8 is a newer and incredibly thinner tablet than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, although it's noticeably heavier.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a much better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has lesser cpu cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a little inferior number of pixels per inch of screen, a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a lot smaller display.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse 5 mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab A8 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features a much longer battery lifetime than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity.
