Galaxy Tab A8 has a global score of 62.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's 58.8 score. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A8 has a more recent 11 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Tab A8's design is notably newer and extremely thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's, although it's also somewhat heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280, a little bit lower pixels density and a bit smaller screen.
