Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a 70 score against 60.8. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is extremely newer than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, it is extremely heavier and thicker. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, providing a couple additional features.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has just a bit more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory and 4 lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a really longer battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
