Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, getting a score of 70 against 58.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 works with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while Asus VivoTab Smart comes with Windows 8 operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2's design is a little thicker but incredibly lighter than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Asus VivoTab Smart features a CPU that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab Active 2 one, because although the Asus VivoTab Smart has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Asus VivoTab Smart has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a little lower quantity of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a larger display and a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a little bit better camera than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both of them have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back-facing camera. The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 costs a lot more money than Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
