Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, getting a 79.3 score against 70. The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has Android 9.0 Pie OS. The Google Pixel Slate is a newer and noticeably thinner portable tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, but it is incredibly heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 13 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Google Pixel Slate features a better screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a much larger display, a lot better resolution of 3000 x 2000px and a much better count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Google Pixel Slate features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a very superior battery performance than Google Pixel Slate.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. Both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a same resolution camera and the same (Full HD) video quality.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. If you want to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
