Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a general score of 70, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's global score of 61.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 body is much newer and a little bit thinner, but also heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, so it provides the user some additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has a little bit smaller display, a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a little worse pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB and 16 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a way better 1920x1080 video definition and a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, resigning a couple features and specifications.
