The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an overall score of 79, which is a lot better than Google Nexus 7's general score of 59.3. Although the Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a lot heavier than Google Nexus 7, it's a little bit thinner and notably newer. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has newer 10 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1, so it provides the user some extra features.

Google Nexus 7 counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a just a bit lower display density and a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 7, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1 TB. Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit better battery life than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 5050mAh battery size against 4325mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 takes way better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a lot more money than Google Nexus 7, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
