The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an overall score of 79, which is better than the Galaxy Note 8.0's 69.2 score. Galaxy Tab Active 3's design is a lot newer, but noticeably heavier and a lot thicker than the Galaxy Note 8.0. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the older 10 version and Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a much higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and a better pixel count in each inch of screen.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a camera with way more MP and a much better video definition. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB and 48 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 5050mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a lot more than Galaxy Note 8.0, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
