Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 3 is way better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a 79 score against 58.1. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has 10 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Galaxy Tab Active 3's design is noticeably newer and just a little lighter than Galaxy Tab 8.9's, although it's somewhat thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a much greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and much more pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot higher (4K) video quality and a much higher 13 megapixels resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
