Galaxy Tab Active 3 is way better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 79 score against 58.8. Galaxy Tab Active 3's design is extremely newer and just a little bit lighter than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's, but it is somewhat thicker. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has newer 10 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 6 more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixel count per display inch and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 48 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has 6100mAh of battery capacity instead of 5050mAh.
