Comparison review
Apple iPad 4 has a general score of 70.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab Active's overall score of 67. The Apple iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x OS, while Galaxy Tab Active has Android 4.4 OS. The Apple iPad 4 body is notably heavier but a little bit thinner than Galaxy Tab Active. Apple iPad 4 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a larger display and a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048.
The iPad 4 features a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. IPad 4 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active, although it has a worse graphics processor running at 400 megahertz, a smaller amount of RAM and 2 lesser cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a much better battery performance than iPad 4. Apple iPad 4 features a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a way better video definition and a lot more MP back-facing camera.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab Active. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the iPad 4, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab Active, giving up some specifications.
