Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is just a bit better than the Asus VivoTab RT, getting a global score of 67 against 61. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's design is notably newer and much lighter, but also thicker than Asus VivoTab RT. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with Android 4.4 operating system, and Asus VivoTab RT counts with Windows RT operating system.
The Galaxy Tab Active features a more vivid display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a little bit worse 1280 x 800 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a bit faster CPU than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Active also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Asus VivoTab RT counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Asus VivoTab RT shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a way higher (Full HD) video quality and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a much longer battery life than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus VivoTab RT. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Asus VivoTab RT, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
