The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a score of 67, which is better than HTC Flyer's 58.7 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active body is newer, a lot thinner and just a bit lighter than the HTC Flyer. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a brighter screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a quite larger display, a just a bit greater screen pixels density and a better resolution of 1280 x 800. The HTC Flyer counts with a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab Active features a little better performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a better graphics processor working at 450 MHz, more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The HTC Flyer shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the HTC Flyer also has a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a bit superior battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a 4450mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Galaxy Tab Active is a lot more expensive than the HTC Flyer, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
