Even though the Huawei MediaPad X2 and Galaxy Tab Active were released only a few months apart, the Huawei MediaPad X2 is incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad X2 has a newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab Active has Android 4.4, offering a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Huawei MediaPad X2 features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher screen pixels density and a way higher 1920 x 1200px resolution. Huawei MediaPad X2 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 1,5 GB more RAM memory, a 64-bits CPU and 4 more cores. The Huawei MediaPad X2 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition and a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4450mAh.
