Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is much better than the Lenovo TAB 2 A8, with a general score of 67 against 60.1. Despite being the best we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's design is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker than Lenovo TAB 2 A8. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has the previous 4.4 version and Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has Android 5.0.
The Galaxy Tab Active features a bit more vivid screen than Lenovo TAB 2 A8. They have a greater amount of pixels per inch of display, the same 1280 x 800px resolution and a screen with the same size. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a little bit more memory to install applications and games than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB.
Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with a faster graphics processing unit and a 64-bits processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because it has a 6 percent larger battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, although it has a lot lower resolution back camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lenovo TAB 2 A8. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
