Galaxy Tab Active has an overall score of 67, which is a little bit better than the LG G Pad F2 8.0's 62.7 overall score. Despite being the best tablet we compare here, Galaxy Tab Active's body is extremely older, thicker and somewhat heavier than LG G Pad F2 8.0. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Active has an older 4.4 version while LG G Pad F2 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Galaxy Tab Active counts with a brighter screen than LG G Pad F2 8.0. They have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, a screen of the same size and a better pixel count in each display inch. LG G Pad F2 8.0 features a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because it has a 4450mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Galaxy Tab Active has a slightly better camera than LG G Pad F2 8.0, although it has a much lower 1280x720 video resolution and a back facing camera with lot less MP resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad F2 8.0. If you want to save some money, you can buy the LG G Pad F2 8.0, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
