The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a global score of 67, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab's 58.6 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a newer and thinner device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it is also a little heavier. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has the newer 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a faster processor than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of cores (and faster), a GPU and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a just a bit better display pixel density, a bit larger screen and a higher 1280 x 800 resolution.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a little bit more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab, although it has just 16 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab, because it has an 11% bigger battery size.
